A face for radio

OK, I’ll give it a shot. I’m not as sharp as I’ve been over the years cause of this damn insomnia. But one thing has been bothering me for a while. Now I’m not the most photogenic person you’ll see, the key is that i know it! You have seen them, the ones that illicit the WHOA!!!! response followed by a comment like, “are ALL of the mirrors in that persons house broken?”. That being the case you have to ask yourself why doesn’t a friend tell them something. Like the GIANT billboards all over the city with that Capaci chick, she’s not hideous but, not very photogenic either. Most people go through great pains to never let their “new” friends ever see their high school photos. But some are downright proud. Like I’m sure that “Donna” girl, the one that owns an insurance company, that has her picture on every other bus bench, which in hindsight seems befitting, probably carries a yearbook in her trunk.

A note to those people, your mom was lying to you, you are not the most handsome/beautiful kid in the world. That’s what moms do to keep you from jumping off a bridge and humiliating the family.

Then there are quite a few local TV commercials which seem as though that all of the “Beautiful people” surely moved away after or were killed by Katrina. Or maybe while sitting around the kitchen table counting the extra road home money somebody says “hey I’ve got a great idea”,. Surely no one would spend their own hard earned cash on such an endeavor.
